It is pleasing to see more and more clients moving to our secure Cloud Infrastructure, and at the same time, adopting all our Apps. I believe the new Stocklink App is going to totally transform how Orders are placed and how regular Stocktakes are done in clinics. Several clinics are going paperless with the FREE e-Forms App, and new orders for the MyVet App continue to roll in as people realise its power. If you have not looked at these options then I highly recommend that you embrace these new technologies as soon as possible. Please look up our website for more details.

Stocklink App - Now Available! FREE*

Stocklink App is a new addition to the VETLINKSQL family of innovative products. It is a fully native Mobile App that will allow you to perform various stock functions in the absence of an internet connection! The three major functions it will perform will be Stock Ordering (Supplier Agnostic), Stock Takes (Full or Category or Bin Location), and Stock Transfers (Store/Vehicle to Store/Vehicle).

The App can be used without an internet or Wi-Fi connection until ready to be synced back – very useful for all those spots without reliable Wi-Fi; also useful when Vets inter-transfer stock between vehicles in the field. This App will work on iOS (Apple) as well as Android devices and on most popular Phones and Tablets. It can use the built-in camera to scan barcodes – very useful for those with smaller budgets. A certified miniature Bluetooth Laser Barcode scanner can also be used for faster scanning for large inventories.

We expect very high demand from users and so priority will be given to New Zealand clients as the End of Financial Year falls on 31st March for many clinics in New Zealand, and they will definitely want this free app to perform their stocktake.

Backups and AV Are Very Important

If you are not on our secure cloud environment, it is vital that you check that your backups are working properly, and that your Anti-Virus is up to date. There have been some recent infections of the Cryptolocker virus which tends to encrypt attachments and files. While the VETLINKSQL database is not affected, other attachments are compromised. Note that CFL provides an automated and monitored cloud backup service; call or email tech@cfl.co.nz for more information. Note also that when you move VETLINKSQL to our secure cloud environment, all regular backups are INCLUDED as part of the infrastructure and service!

VETLINKSQL Mobile Billing App Takes Off!

The VETLINKSQL Mobile Billing App is gaining traction with a number of clinics in both Australia and New Zealand using it full time now. To this end we have now allocated more resources and a new update is being worked on. Several new features being asked for will be in the next version including Live appointment making, seeing other Vets’ appointments, instantly sending off invoices for approval rather than waiting to send in bulk later in the day, etc. Every field Vet should be using this App off their phone right now! SFS 2-Way Integration Now Fully Completed

Smart Flow Sheet has now been fully integrated to VETLINKSQL and now automatically imports all charges from SFS when a patient is discharged. In addition to being able to send patient details from VETLINKSQL to Smart Flow Sheet and automatically downloading the Smart Flow Sheet clinical notes as PDFs. This is a great addition to help prevent missed charges. As well as the bill item import images in clinical notes and animal file photos are also automatically updated.
